Description

Properties
1. Corrosion Resistance
Stainless steel plates offer corrosion resistance similar to 304 chromium-nickel steel. However, in harsh corrosive environments or at high temperatures, grades such as 321 and 347 are recommended for their superior resistance to intergranular corrosion.
2. High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance
Stainless steel plates exhibit excellent resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures. However, oxidation rates depend on factors such as the exposure environment and product surface condition.
3. Physical Properties
Although stainless steel has lower thermal conductivity than carbon steel, its clean and smooth surface enhances heat transfer performance by minimizing surface film buildup, rust, or scaling.
